Supporting the climbing community

Climbing has always been built by people who give more than they take. Coaches, setters, volunteers, organizers, local gyms, clubs, and non-profit groups all help create the spaces, events, and experiences that keep the sport moving forward.

As 8A grows, we want to support that work in a practical way.

We can’t support every request, but we’re proud to partner with organizations and events that create meaningful opportunities for climbers.

What we support

We primarily support:

Climbing competitions
Youth climbing programs
University climbing clubs
Non-profit climbing organizations
Community climbing events

Our focus is on initiatives that help people participate, improve, and feel more connected to climbing.

How we help

Depending on the event or organization, support may include:

Podium prizes
Raffle prizes
Event giveaways
Product support for community initiatives
Select promotion through 8A channels

Because 8A is a small independent brand, most of our support is provided through product donations rather than financial sponsorship.

What we look for

We give priority to organizations and events that:

Help grow the climbing community
Encourage participation at every level
Create positive, welcoming experiences
Contribute something meaningful to the sport
Align with the spirit of climbing

We’re especially interested in supporting events across Canada, while remaining open to select international opportunities.
