SHIPPING POLICY

This Shipping Policy (“Policy”) describes how orders are processed, shipped, and delivered by 8A Climbing (“8A Climbing,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). This Policy applies to all purchases made through 8aclimbing.com. By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.
SECTION 1 — THE MADE-TO-ORDER MODEL
All 8A Climbing products are produced on-demand. Unlike traditional retail, we do not maintain a pre-printed inventory. Each item is individually manufactured and finished specifically for you after your order is confirmed.

Purpose: This model reduces environmental waste and ensures high-level quality control.

Expectation: Because your gear is being made from scratch, delivery timelines are longer than "off-the-shelf" retail.
SECTION 2 — PRODUCTION TIMELINE
Orders enter our automated production queue shortly after purchase.

Standard Production: 3–7 business days.

Peak Periods: During product launches, restocks, or seasonal holidays, production may extend by an additional 2–3 business days.

Operating Hours: Production does not occur on Saturdays, Sundays, or Canadian/U.S. statutory holidays.
SECTION 3 — SHIPPING & TRANSIT TIMES
Once production is complete and quality-checked, your order is handed over to our fulfillment partners.

Estimated Shipping (Canada & USA): 9–14 business days.

Carriers: We utilize various carriers depending on the destination and package weight.

Disclaimer: Shipping times are estimates, not guarantees. Transit delays caused by carriers, customs processing, extreme weather, or peak seasonal volume are outside of our control.
SECTION 4 — TOTAL ESTIMATED DELIVERY WINDOW
To calculate when you will receive your order, combine Production Time + Shipping Time.
Total Estimated Window: 12–21 Business Days
Please Note: This window represents approximately 3 to 4 calendar weeks. While orders often arrive sooner, please plan your purchases accordingly.
SECTION 5 — SHIPPING RATES & DESTINATIONS

Calculations: Rates are calculated at checkout based on weight, dimensions, and destination.

Current Destinations: We ship to Canada and the United States. International shipping to select countries may be available if enabled at checkout.

International Fees: Customers are responsible for all import duties, VAT, customs fees, or handling charges imposed by the destination country. 8A Climbing cannot predict or control these costs.
SECTION 6 — ORDER TRACKING

Notification: Tracking information will be sent to the email provided at checkout once the label is created.

Sync Time: It may take 24–48 hours for the carrier to update the status after the label is generated.

Inquiry Threshold: If you have not received a tracking number after 12 business days, please contact hello@8aclimbing.com.
SECTION 7 — ADDRESS ACCURACY & CHANGES
Because our fulfillment system is automated:

Change Window: Address changes must be requested within 2 hours of order placement. Once an order enters production, the address cannot be modified.

Customer Responsibility: It is the customer’s responsibility to provide a complete and accurate address (including unit numbers).

Failed Delivery: Orders returned to our fulfillment center due to an "Insufficient Address" or "Return to Sender" will require a re-shipping fee paid by the customer to be sent out a second time.
SECTION 8 — SPLIT SHIPMENTS
To get your gear to you as fast as possible, items in a single order may ship from different fulfillment centers.

There is no additional cost for split shipments.

You may receive multiple tracking numbers and packages at different times.
SECTION 9 — DELIVERY ISSUES & LIABILITY

Delivered but Missing: If a package is marked as "Delivered" by the carrier but you cannot locate it, 8A Climbing is not liable for theft or "porch piracy." We recommend shipping to a secure location or a staffed business address.

Lost in Transit: A package is considered "Lost" if there has been no tracking movement for more than 15 business days. In these cases, we will coordinate with the carrier to verify the loss before processing a replacement.

Damaged Items: If your gear arrives damaged, you must email hello@8aclimbing.com within 7 days of delivery with clear photos of the damage and the original packaging.
SECTION 10 — CANCELLATION POLICY

Orders can only be canceled if they have not yet entered production.

Due to our rapid-start manufacturing process, the cancellation window is often less than 2 hours. Once production begins, the order is custom-made for you and cannot be canceled or refunded.
SECTION 11 — FORCE MAJEURE
8A Climbing is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, wildfires, pandemics, labor strikes, or government-mandated closures.
